No More Critics presents!

Aren't you frustrated reading reviews that are more about the critic than the movie? It's as if using complex sentences elevates their opinion above the rest of us, but it just comes off as pretentious and out of touch.
"One departs the cinema pondering not merely the film's narrative, but the very depths of one's own intellectual fortitude to have endured such a, shall we say, profoundly pedestrian exercise in cinematic mediocrity."
That's a lot of words just to say, "It's not for me." That's all it is anyway. It's not for them, but it is for someone.
They're so focused on dissecting every frame that they've forgotten the joy of simply watching a film. They follow a mob mentality, jumping on bandwagons without thinking for themselves, telling us what we should like.
So, I created this site to change the way Hollywood thinks. They want people in the seats, but they listen to the few critics instead of the many in the audience.
Let's shout it from the mountaintops that we've had enough! Let's show them what we really like. Citizen Kane? "You're killin' me, Smalls!" Give me The Sandlot any day. Slapstick comedies, unrealistic action movies, and YES, even superhero movies have tons of fans, but get no respect. Why? Because some elitist told us they're not "real movies"?
Let's take back the cinema from these elitists who think they know better than us. Let's celebrate the movies that make us laugh, cry, and jump out of our seats. Maybe Hollywood will stop listening to the critics and start listening to us, the fans.
